ACCOUNTING & EDUCATION
Business accounting is the systematic process of recording, analyzing, and interpreting a business’s financial information. Accounting can be used to track financial operations, ensure legal obligations are met, and make better business decisions – it’s an essential element of running any business.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting, an institute that offers a rich environment for the study of accounting. Members of the school’s faculty have earned PhD degrees from leading universities across the US and are committed to excellence in teaching, service, and research. They serve as editors and referees for major accounting journals, produce important scholarly work, and serve professional and governmental organizations at the state, national and international level. The quality of the accounting students at the Fisher School is exceptional, with each generation of graduates contributing to the school’s success. Many alumni have gone on to become leaders in the worlds of academia and business.
The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) came together in 2017 to create a powerful international alliance on a mission to promote accounting and finance around the world. AICMA & CIMA currently serves 698,000 members, engaged professionals and students in 188 countries and territories. It provides exclusive guidance and specialized resources to empower its members and create a brighter future both in terms of their careers and the accounting profession as a whole.
